Learn How To Keep Up The Pace And Move Forward In Business Even When The Times Are Rough
Back in the days when I was starting, I struggled with 101 million of the many things!
I knew I had enough knowledge to share and expertise in my field, but I needed to figure out if I was using the right tools or adequately conveying my message.
Also, I needed to learn how to reach my target audience rightfully. Correctly? Ideally? or just…. (i don’t know)
So, I enrolled in many course programs of coaching coaches, profitable businesses, or even from the gurus of niching down marketing strategies, from free cheatsheet to high ticket programs.
Still, nothing works!
Family members rolled their eyes and said, “Should you just go back out and take a real job instead?”
Friends are observing and waiting to see when you will fail!
Ex-colleague thought you had good times at home…
The whole world thinks that you are doing it wrong, you started entrepreneurship too late, you are too old, you are not talented, you should sleep early, you shouldn’t… (oh boy!)
I should have guessed that nothing comes easy, and the path of entrepreneurship is not deemed to break the freedom pattern!
But… Was it true? Well, we will see…
I tested so many different launch strategies and marketing campaigns, and when I would eventually manage to sell, I couldn't stop thinking about the buyer's experience.
What if they would prefer something else to the course?
I thought my business would be over before it even started if I got a single negative review.
My point is that…
“It is always much easier to find an excuse to stop than to continue doing what you love!”
And that’s why only the top 1% make it successful in their niche as personal brand entrepreneurs.
Oh, also… if it were so easy, everyone would be doing it, right?
I could've come up with a cheesy motivational quote or an affirmation statement and called it a day, but I don't believe in those.
It just doesn’t work! Instead, here are the four key factors that will shape your mindset and keep your business moving forward.
Having The GRIT
GRIT might sound like one of those fancy business jargon words, but don't write it off too quickly.
GRIT is a personality trait reasonably necessary in this case because it helps you remain determined and focused.
It means you're resilient and willing to work hard towards your long-term goal, no matter how difficult the road sometimes might be.
"Make sure to distinguish GRIT from passion. Tough situations won’t last. Tough people last a lifetime!"
How To Supercharge More Sales By Optimizing Time Effectively
There's no way to romanticize GRIT because it is about persistence and consistency.
And for that, you need a lot of confidence, self-awareness, and self-control.
This can take a lot of time to build those but try to have the bigger picture in mind as motivation for moving forward in business.
Fuel Your Passion
As an online business entrepreneur, I used to be fueled with anxiety, not passion.
I was overthinking every little thing, and that was killing the passion I had initially.
It is hard to feel any passion as a course creator when no one buys your course.
However, what eventually changed my mindset was the day I decided to…
Stop worrying and start time blocking.
Stop thinking and start actually doing the ‘things.’
Stop all the many planning and just create one single apologetic messy offer.
So, I went back to the basics…
Tested A/B marketing delivery intentionally,
Connected with my audiences heartfully,
And when everything else fails... “Aim big, Dream big, and Know Your Why!”
You see, I was reinventing my passion, and I eventually enjoyed learning new things, which worked out perfectly.
What added more fuel to the fire were the after-awaited results.
Let your results be your biggest inspiration and be your biggest why!
Once you realize that your course helps and transforms other people's skills, knowledge, and life, it will automatically boost your confidence and passion for real.
That's the moment you realize it was all worth it, and the more you do, it only gets better.
You just have to have enough GRIT to get to that point when you're so comfortable with what you're doing!
Dare To Risk
You've been faithful to your course hosting software, niche, or marketing strategy for quite some time, and it is going ok.
But you're wondering if it can be better than that.
Can you conquer a new niche?
Why not if you dedicate time to learning and researching your competition?
Will the change in how you promote your course bring you more audience?
You won't know unless you try.
Taking risks is a must if you want to push your business forward.
You can stay in your comfort zone for a while, but sooner or later, you'll want to offer more to your audience and attract new traffic.
The safest way to take risks is to be well-prepared and research before implementing any changes.
This fast-growing industry changes continuously, so you must keep up to stay relevant, and taking risks is a part of the process.
Know That Fear And Action Go Hand In Hand
Fear is one of the most natural feelings we all experience from day one.
However, fear shouldn't stop you from doing anything.
Have you ever tried doing something you're actually scared of?
For instance, presenting on public on stage, public speaking is most people afraid of it, but some do it anyway for the sake of doing it.
The sake of doing it after many practices will eventually set you free!
And that’s the best part that comes after because you no longer have that fear.
You will hardly ever be comfortable with fear, but you could at least get used to it. All changes, even the smallest ones, come with fear.
Try to accept it because you will feel fear as long as you care about something.
You might be afraid that no one will buy your course, but you will still post your offer because you're at least giving it a chance.
The worst thing you can do is, do nothing due to fear. No!
Be afraid, but don't let that stop you from taking action! Do it with fear!
Ready To Move Your Business Forward?
Even though it might seem obvious, I have to underline that being a course creator is not all rainbows and sunshine.
There's a lot of background work that no one else sees and many inner dilemmas only you can solve.
However, when you implement these four factors one by one, giving up will no longer be an option in your mind.
